thought leadership – Banking 2020, for example, combines survey data with PwC’s insights in an appealing and easily
navigable document.
For the first time, PwC’s score includes Strategy& thought leadership, which despite a blip last review, has typically

The firm tops the list for differentiation and scores well across all three sub-criteria under this heading. Forces for change:
the public’s view of defence
is a great example: it is topical, substantially different from what has gone before, and
challenges current thinking.

PwC 2014 H2

PwC remains a solid performer, consistently scoring around the 10 mark (9.9 this review, 10.3 in our last report). However, as with most large firms, we see a lot of variety in terms of approach and quality.
